Khuz (1)<div> Iran and dust</div><div>The reason for this claim is that Iran has prevailing winds from four directions, which itself causes dust.</div><div>On the other hand, Khuzestan also has prevailing winds from two directions, and currently the occurrence of dust in the province is caused by these two prevailing winds, and the Middle East region has long been a region with a high potential for the occurrence of dust phenomena in the world.</div><div>But not as much as now, why does a region like Khuzestan become a center of dust?!</div><div>The reason for this is the eroding geological formations and low altitude points, the low amount of rainfall, the loose and susceptible soil texture and the presence of suitable climatic conditions, especially the prevailing wind, can be called the four factors needed to turn an area into a dust-prone center.</div><div>According to available researches, the cities of Abadan and Khorramshahr also had dust in the past 100 years, but in those historical periods, in Khuzestan, the dust phenomenon occurred once or twice a year, and that too from specific dust centers.</div><div>Sorkha, Khazraj and Uml-Debs regions in the west of Susa, Kopal region in the northeast of Ahvaz, and regions of Omidiyeh and Ghaizanieh were the traditional and old centers of dust in Khuzestan.</div><div>But because the soil of these areas had moisture and good rainfall conditions, we did not have many dust mites.</div><div>
</div><div>It should be mentioned that there are dust centers outside of Iran in Iraq, but the country of Iraq knew the areas and dust centers of its country and took measures to control these areas, which is not being done now for any reason.</div><div>
</div><div>It can be said that wrong actions have aggravated the dust.</div><div>In the distant past, it was nature that caused the formation of this phenomenon, but the wrong actions of these few decades and environmental mistakes, during the following years and the repetition of these wrong actions and confrontation with the environment have intensified this process, although the low amount of rainfall is one of the The most important factor for turning an area into dust-prone lands, but during these years, by doing wrong actions such as taking moisture from the soil in a man-made way, the process of dust formation has intensified.</div><div>continues…</div><div>
